Curlila, the Reclining Rocking Chair
This jaw-dropping rocking chair is a comfortable, functional sculpture. We fondly call it the Joy Ride after original wood artist Patrick Joy who has combined his background in mechanical engineering with his passion for woodworking, creating this unique design that is a nice way to unwind at the end of a busy day
The chair features a comfortable carved seat, steam-bent back staves that have just the right curve for ergonomic back support, and a luxurious and safe reclining rocking motion. Look closely at the construction and you will see classic Maloof-inspired joinery.
