There was a 300 year old oak called “ The Boundary Oak” in Walnut Creek, renowned because it was so huge that an entire wedding could be held under the canopy. In 2018, it fell in a wind storm, so the wood was offered to artists to make treasures for an art show. This Cabinet, by local artist Michael Palace, was awarded the “ best of show” in the Bradford Gallery show and depicts the “ Boundary Oak “ made from the Boundary Oak's wood.
The doors feature hand-carving and the "Ghost Legs" are bent lamination.
Dimensions: 40” x 22” x 46” high
