sold: Scorpio Table, featuring the Scorpio Constellation inlay
Fine furniture artist Paul Biehler has created this unique table as part of his Constellation Series, with each piece in the series featuring a distinct constellation. The Scorpio Constellation has a distinctive shape and is one of the brightest constellations in the sky. Brass and bloodwood stars are inlaid into the solid wenge wood top. Solid wenge in this quality, length and thickness are extremely rare and a result of Paul's passion for collecting fine materials throughout his career and saving them for the right project. The tabletop is extremely hard, resilient, and breathtaking in its beauty. Created during the 2020 pandemic lockdown, it is a wonderful example of the Creativity that has come out of artists' studios when the world let them slow down.
