French-American Rolling Pins - 23"
This is a unique hybrid version of the French rolling pin. The ends are tapered, but then shaped with an extra knob for the chef who wants an extra grip at the end. These versatile Rolling Pins are handmade in a variety of fine woods – a "must have" for any enthusiastic pastry chef. The tapered end (or French-style) rolling pin turns dough-rolling into a kind of a dance. Pressing down with the palm of the hands, it is easy to pivot, guide, and shape the dough. The 23 inch size is a little longer and isa great ergonomic choice for aspiring pastry chefs over 5'9" or so. (It has to do with shoulder width.)
