While most people see gray, weathered wood on the beach, Richard Nevel sees a forest of Pacific Northwest woods, each with its individual story to tell. Richard “listens” as the wood tells its story, and then bring that story to the art world - a combination of rough and smooth styling which highlights both the seen and unseen, the yin and yang of driftwood.
